Apartment Review for Remington - Tampa, FL

I am a new tenant at Ashford Place Apartments .....I am VERY DISAPPOINTED about EVERYTHING so far.My place was NOT ready! The front door was opened (not sealed along the sides and the lock was damaged) if someone wanted to kick in the door they could. I have small children and I can not live like that! The only thing satisfactory was the carpeting in this unit. It smelled bad, there was sand everywhere, it was not cleaned out... just ridiculous!!!Starting with pests..... We had roaches from the kitchen, to the hall bathroom and then the master bathroom. ( I have sprayed for and left roach bait to ease the appearances.) No one has been by to exterminate. And I also had knats flying all thorughout the apartment coming from the garbage disposal. Next the living room...the door stopper for the front door needs to be replaced. General Items ...The screen for my patio are torn and the screen to the door was also torn. ( No one has come by to fix this.) Moving on to the bathroons: I am missing the shower rod for my hall bathroom and in both the sinks were all clogged with hair balls of which my fiance' fixed. I noticed a puddle of water in my hall one morning, It appeared to have come from the closet which holds our A/C. June 11th no one still came and by this time the water was so bad that I was placing towels left and right on the floor just to keep it dry and not to damage to carpet.The water has been running down my hallway for a whole week!!!!! If some one had come the first day It probably wouldn't be as bad as it is now.I have only been here for two weeks and I have never stayed somewhere where I have had this many issues so early!!! But had we read the reviews on this place before hand we would have never moved here!!!!! This is unacceptable!!!! The lawn is kept nasty, the laundry facility that I walk by daily is nasty and the gym (which we tried to use) is nasty, the mail area is TRASHED and NASTY. And by the way the window is missing! You all need some serious help here or tear the place down, exterminate and rebuild from the ground up!!! I am at my wits end already at two weeks of being here and I 've seen at least three people move from here being of these same issues
